Creating a pattern-based panel and applying it to a free-form system

- This one's a little harder. When we create a panel in this manner, we're usually looking to have a non-traditional, odd-shaped panel, which has different dimensions in three dimensions. By creating a new pattern based panel family, we will switch our layout to be triangular. We will then add a pyramid shaped curtain panel then load it into our model. From there, we're gonna apply it to one of the massing walls we already have modeled. Let's jump into our massing model. Let's go to Massing & Site. Let's make sure we Show Mass by View Settings. This patterns pretty cool but there's not much we can do with it. The next step is to create a new family. Let's go the purple R. Let's go to New. Let's go to Family. The family we're gonna use is gonna be a curtain panel pattern based family. Click Open. The first thing that we're gonna do here is select this little grid.
