Creating non-uniform grids

- Of course, there are gonna be times where you don't want a pattern at all when it comes to a curtain wall. Suppose we wanna just start with a blank panel and manually add our grid pattern. Well, we can do that. The objective of this video is to add a blank panel. We will then add horizontal and vertical grids of our choosing. So, to get started, let's drop into our Revit curtain wall model or whatever model you may be working in. In the Project Browser, I wanna go to Level 1 floor plan. I'm gonna pick on this wall right here. To get started, let's add some reference planes. So, on the Architecture tab, click the ref plane button. On the Draw panel, let's choose our pick lines button. Let's give it a six foot offset in our options. I'm gonna zoom in here. I'm gonna offset a line in six feet. On this side, it's not as convenient. On my Draw panel, I'm gonna click on my lines button. I'm gonna keep the offset at six feet but I'm going to draw a line straight up from this intersection…
