Creating a new family from a template
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to get started creating a new piece of family content. And the first step of doing that is to choose an appropriate template. So here on the recent file screen in the families area I'll click the new icon. And then that should take me to the family templates folder. Now depending on the installation options you chose in your version of Revit, you may see slightly different things here in this folder but you should have a list of family templates. Now I'm going to scroll down through this list a little bit here and you can start to select different things. And of course, page through them to see that there's a variety of differences between each one of these templates. Now, let me kind of point out one example of that.
