Creating and managing legends
We're now going to take a look at placing legends and managing legends on Views in our Revit project. Now, we've got a new Revit project for you to use. It's called RevitProject_LEGEND.rvt and as usual you can download that from the website and use it as exercise file to follow along with the video. Now as usual, as in many of these videos, we're in the Floor Plans at level 0 right now, so make sure you're in that particular view in your Revit project. What I'm going to do now is I'm going to go to the Annotate tab on the ribbon. And I'm just going to pan upwards a little bit like so, leaving a bit of a gap underneath the Floor Plan Level 0. I'm then going to go over to the Color Fill panel here on the Annotate tab, I'm going to use this icon here, Color Fill Legend. Now as soon as I do that can you see there's no color scheme assigned to the View? It's just a default legend at the moment and you can see that in the Properties pallet, it's a Color Fill Legend by view. I'm just going…
