Creating levels from the CAD drawing

- [Instructor] We're staying in our 05_Simple Building Project.rvt file with our linked CAD file. In the previous video, we set up our structural grids in Revit using the linked CAD file as our point of reference. What we're going to look at this time is working with datum levels in our Revit model. And we're going to develop those so that we know that we've got a fixed height between our ground floor and our first floor. Now, what we've got to do is go to one of those elevations. Now, if you go over to the project browser, you can see elevations there, just click on the plus sign to expand it, and we've got the usual north, south, east, west. Now, this one here is the south elevation, just here. So double-click on south, here, like so, and you'll see that we've got a bunch of grid lines and some levels over here, to the left, but we haven't got any walls, or roofs, or anything like that.
