- Up until now, I've done a lot of going up to the architecture tab and then selecting on component in order to place families here inside of our views. But I did want to point out, and I'll do this for our what I'll call our laundry closet or our laundry room area, that there is another way you can place your families in. And that is if you come in here to your project browser, scroll down toward where the bottom of your listing is at, one of the categories there will be "Families." If you click the little plus next to "Families," you can scroll down here and this will be a list of all the families that are loaded here inside of your Revit project. What I would like to do now, is actually look for the washing machine and dryer. Well, I happen to know that they are considered specialty equipment, so I'll click on the little plus next to "Specialty equipment," and here I can see that I've got my things like my dish washer, ranges, all those things, but I also have my washer and my…
