Creating isolated footings
is to be inside of a 3D view. So I'll move my cursor up here let it spin itself around then zoom in here toward the bottom of where my foundation is located. And right now I can see that Now I happen to know that these footings are will always follow that wall all the way on around. But, footings that are considered isolated, you can specify the dimensions so that they'll show up right there at the bottom of that column. And that's what we want to do in this case. So we'll select on isolated and it'll give us a message. Saying there aren't any families currently loaded into this project with those properties. Would I like to load one now? And the answer is yes. Now we can find those footings underneath the RVT version libraries, in my case its US imperial and then it's structural foundations. If for some reason you do not have this footing available to you when you go looking for it I'll make sure that it happens to be inside the exercise files folder Click on open it's loaded in a 72…
