Creating concrete bevels
Sometimes we need the top of our concrete walls to have a 45 degree bevel. Let's make a family that does that. In this video, we'll be creating a profile family again, then we'll add it to a foundation wall. From there, we'll sweep it vertically and horizontally, we're also going to add an if statement to make it change sizes. So to get started, let's go to families. Let's go to new. (clicking) I'm going to go to English Imperial, I'm going to find profile reveal. Then I'm going to click Open. Okay, I want to wind up with 45 degree lines in all four quadrants. So to do that, I'm going to right click on this reference plane, and I'm going to create similar, on the draw panel click pick lines. For an offset, let's just go one inch. Let's go left, right, up, down. Hit escape a few times. And the measure panel, click the Align dimension button. 1, 2, 3 pick off of it. EQ, now let's pick the overall…
