- [Instructor] We're staying in our Elements and Families chapter of our Revit Architecture certified professional preparation course. I've got a new Revit project here for you. It's called RevitProject_COMPOUND.rvt. As usual, you can download it from the website and use it as your exercise file for this particular video. And you'll notice that I'm in the level zero floor plan at the moment. And you can see that we've just got one little solitary wall segment in there. What I'd like you to do is zoom in on the wall segment, like so. And we're going to have a look at compound walls. Now most of the time when you're working in Revit you will be working with what they call compound walls. What do I mean by a compound wall? Well select the wall segment and you'll notice in the Properties palate now it's a basic wall. And as you can see there it's a cavity wall. And it's got basically various dimensions there, so 102 brickwork, 75 insulation, and then 100 blockwork, and then P stands for…
