Creating column offsets

- [Voiceover] Just because we use the grid to basically lock in our columns that doesn't mean that we can't move a few columns around here and there. The objective of this video is to select a couple columns and move them. Then we're going to go back and examine the properties of the columns to see how Revit displays the offsets and the properties. I'm going to go to Level 1 Structural Plan. Now these columns are kind of in the middle of the hallway. I want to move them. So to move these columns I'm just going to simply pick a window around these two columns right here. I'm going to click on my Move button. I'm going to pick the center line of the column. I'm going to move it over four feet. Notice that you can just move in the one direction and type in the increment you want to move them and they'll go four feet. I'm going to do the same over here.
