- [Instructor] I've talked about global parameters in other courses, but not that much. They really are awesome. We can now treat an entire model like an actual family. Come up with a rule, build it in the model, and let it do its magic. The objective of this video is to add some global parameters that pertain to personal heights, as well as PPT panel heights. In Revit, let's go open. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files. I'll grab Syracuse Health Architectural Eight, but as always, you can open any model that you want. Okay, let's go to the manage tab. On the settings panel, click global parameters. I had already added one for counter height before, but we're going to add a few more. I'm going to start from the top and go down. To add a new global parameter, click the new global parameter button. Now I want a global material for all of my shields.
