Creating a Sheet List

- In this movie we're going to create a sheet list. Now, it may seem odd to create a sheet list when we don't have any sheets yet. But when we consider that a sheet list is actually a Revit schedule, and as such, it can be used to create sheets, it's actually not that strange at all. So in this movie we'll create a sheet list. And then talk about how we can use it in the next movie to create our sheets. So I'm in a file called sheet list, and it's just a continuation of the project that we've been working on. Now, there's two ways you can create a sheet list. You can go to the view tab and use the schedules drop down, choose the sheet list command right here, or if you prefer, on the project browser you can find the schedules and quantities item, right-click it, and choose new sheet list. Either one will get you to the same place, and you'll be looking at the sheet list properties. So this is exactly like any other schedule properties dialogue.
