Creating Roman and Moorish style arches

- [Instructor] We've discussed seed families quite a bit so far and if we think about the arch family that we just created in the previous video, it can easily become a seed for other forms of arches. If you think about the three shapes that I have here on screen, the Roman, the Segmental, and the Moorish, all of these can really be created from the same basic framework. Let's take that Segmental arch that we created in the previous video and use it to create a Roman and a Moorish style arch. I have a file open here that's just a copy of where we left off in the previous video. All we need to do to create the other two styles of arches is treat this like a seed and do a Save As. I'm going to go to File, Save As, Family and I'll call this one (clicking) Roman Arch and I'll put it on my desktop. Once we've done that, I eluded to the fact already in a previous video that in order to make a Roman arch, you simply need the correct proportion of height to width. If we go to Family Types and…
