- [Instructor] This week I'm going to address a question that came up in the Q&A for one of the courses. The member asks about a scheduled takeoff for the total square footage and volume of his walls. So this is something that we can easily do. Let's jump into Revit and take a look. Now I'm going to use the Revit advanced sample project for this example. And it's here in my Recent Files area of my home screen, but if it's not there for you, you can click the back button here, go to the File menu, go to Open, and then choose the Sample Files item here. That will display a folder full of files and it's the rac advanced sample project. And I will click Open. So this is a pretty simple file, but it's got a decent amount of walls in it, so I thought it'd be a good example for this question. We can work really in any view that's convenient.
