Create in-place masses

- [Instructor] The goal here is to show how you can use an option called In-Place Mass to create the form of the building. I find that I work a lot in the 3D view, and I'm looking at this south building. If I click on In-Place Mass, I can name the mass itself, so I'm going to call that South Building. And I can represent the building as a simple box shape. If I draw a rectangle, say under my model lines that I provided, that's the outline of the building. With these lines still selected, if I go up to the Create Form, this is where I can turn that into a 3D mass form. My building, close out of that, and then close the wrapper, so that the mass is represented here. I just want to show you that on the south side, south elevation, the floor to floor height in a building, imagine this is like a remodel, is nine feet one. So back in my 3D view, if I select on the mass, that's really the mass highlighted, and imagine there's kind of a wrapper around it, if you say Edit In-Place, that's you…
