Create a daylight autonomy study
- [Instructor] This is to show one of the lighting studies where you measure daylight autonomy. If I click on the Lighting tab, where it says Run New Analysis, this means if I simply click on the Go button, it's going to offer me the different types of analysis that I can do. And up here, you see a list, where I can go down and pick which one I want. From here I'm going to pick the Daylight Autonomy. What it's showing here is, am I including all levels of the building, so I've got three floor levels on here. It gives me the locations, latitude and longitude for Alameda, January 1st to 31st between eight and five, sampling this number of hours. The kind of shorthand here, if you click on the Information button there, it explains that the daylight analysis says "Percentage of floor area receiving over 300 lux were at least 50% of the 365 annual hours."
