- Usually, when I say copy in Revit, I don't mean the good old-fashioned Ctrl+C, you know, copy to Clipboard. This time I actually do mean just that. By copying all of the framing we have in our plan to the clipboard, we can can actually copy this framing to other floors in the same exact spot. Let's jump into our structural model. Let's go down to Level 2. I'm gonna zoom in on all my framing. I'm gonna pick a window around everything. Now I'm gonna go to my Filter. I'm gonna check None. What I wanna do is, I wanna grab Structural Beam System Tags, Beam Systems, Structural Framing, Framing, Framing, and that's it. Click Apply. Click OK. Now what I wanna do is I wanna click on Copy to Clipboard on the Clipboard panel. Let's go to a 3D view. Let's go to the Modify tab. Let's click the Paste dropdown. Let's go to Paste, Aligned to Selected Views. Let's go to Structural Plan, Level 3, 4, 5, and Roof. Let's click OK. Depending on the size of the building, this sometimes takes a minute…
