Controlling displacement views

As we've previously discussed, the displace feature is a view specific feature and it's a 3D view feature. So, everything that we do in the Displace view has to be done in the 3D view and only belongs to that view. Now in this movie, I'd like to look at some of the ways we can customize that view. And I'm going to specifically focus on the display properties of the paths. So paths are somewhat unique with this idea of being view specific, because technically, paths are model lines. They, they really behave like model elements. And I can illustrate that best by orbiting the 3D view. Now the trouble is, the view I'm in, I'm in a file called Path Visibility, and I'm in a view called Displace Stair. This displaced stair view has text which means that in order for the text to be here I had to lock the view which means that I cannot orbit it.
