Constraining curvature without formulas

- [Instructor] Throughout this course, we've looked at several different examples for creating parametrically flexing curves. And, for the most part, you've probably noticed by now that my preference is to control that curvature using formulas and oftentimes trigonometry. Now, I like that approach because it works really well, it gives me good results, and it's very, very stable. But, like any solution, there's no perfect solution, and not everything works every single time. So, there will be some situations where, for whatever reason, you will be looking for an alternative to using formulas and calculating things mathematically. So, I'm going to remind you of the diagram that I showed you when we were talking about the Ovolo curve, and I mentioned that the Cavetto, which is a concave version of the similar molding, could be built in largely the same way. So, the center point was just in another location, but you could figure out the location of that using almost the same formulas…
