Choosing a template file
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at using a template file to create a new project or model. So to get started, here on the home screen, I will simply click the new button in the models area. That will display the new project window and there will be a list of templates to choose from. Now, your list may vary slightly from mine, depending on which options you chose when you installed Revit. So I'm going to demonstrate this very first option here, Imperial Architectural Template, and if you don't have that one on your list, then you can use the browse button here and I've provided a copy of it with the exercise files and it's simply called Default. So it's not actually called Imperial Architectural Template; it's called Default. So you would choose that, click okay and that will create this new project based on that template.
