- [Narrator] Choosing the right tool and the right modeling process before starting can avoid useless modeling and remodeling. When it comes to modeling in Revit we often choose the fastest or the most convenient function to achieve the desired result. Here is some general advice for Revit users. I am not only talking about specific modeling cases. Take your time and think through the res that you need. There is no single perfect way to do things on Revit. Before clicking the function, ask yourself these three questions. Do I really need this? If so, do I need it in 2D or 3D? First reflex, refer to BIM execution plan That should answer most of those questions if there is one or, otherwise, use your common sense. Let's say you need a elim to show up in the visual render.
