Checking for changes in the linked CAD drawing

- [Instructor] We're still in Revit in our 06_Simple Building Project.rvt file and we're zoomed in on those walls that we know have had some changes made in the linked CAD file. How do we check if that linked CAD file has had those changes made? We know the drawing has been changed. We know it's been saved in Auto CAD. We go to the insert tab on the ribbon, we go to manage links. That'll bring up our manage links dialogue box and we go to CAD formats. There's our 06 ground floor plan drawing. What I'm going to do now is unload it. If I unload it like that it's still linked, but it's unloaded. I click on OK, so that everything will disappear. It's still there, I need to now reload it. I go back to manage links again, CAD format, select my 06 there, and I'll reload it, and then I'll click on OK. Now you can see the change. You can see where those walls have been changed in the CAD file but not in the Revit model. That's the benefit of having a linked CAD file in your Revit model. The…
