- [Voiceover] With our trusses in, they're pretty sloppy. The first thing I notice is the actual material we're using, not a big fan of the W shapes so what I wanna do is configure these trusses to be wood members. And I want to go to Insert, now I wanna come over here to Load Family. I wanna scroll down to where it says Structural Framing. This time let's go to wood. I'm just gonna grab good old fashioned dimension lumber I'm gonna click Open. I wanna grab some 4x8's some 4x10's and we'll grab some 4x12's while we're at it. Let's click OK. Now I'm just gonna pan down to the bottom of any one of these trusses and select it. Now I wanna click on Edit Type. For standard, I wanna click on Rename. I'm gonna call it "Dimension Lumber" and I'm gonna click OK. Now what we're gonna do is just go through and select our structural framing type so we're gonna click the drop-down here, so for our top chords I wanna grab 4x10's. For the vertical webs I wanna click my drop-down, I wanna go 4x8's…
