Changing a generic floor/ceiling/roof to a specific type

- [Instructor] We're now in a new Revit project, and we're going to be looking at changing a generic floor, ceiling, or roof to a specific type. In this particular case we're going to utilize a floor to do this. So our new Revit project is called Revit project underscore floor.rvt. And you can download that from the website as usual and use it as your exercise file for this particular video. Now, selecting floors can be a little bit wiggly. So you'll notice when I hover and try and get on the edge of the floor, in floor plan level zero I hasten to add, you can see that all I'm getting is the walls. So click and drag and select everything, like that, and release the mouse button. Soon as you do that you'll see that you've got your filter up there on the ribbon. Click on filter, switch off walls by unticking the box, click on OK, and now all you've got selected is your floor. You can see that by the tab at the top there, modify floors, and also in the type selector in the properties…
