Changing elements within a curtain wall: Grids, panels, and mullions
- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our Revit Architecture Certified Professional Preparation Course, and we're going to be looking a little bit now at elements and families within your Revit project. So, we've got a new Revit project for you, it's revitproject_curtain.rvt, as usual. You can download that from the website and use it as the exercise file to work through when you're watching the video. Now, you'll notice in the project browser I'm in the Elevation, North, this time. You can see it there in bold, there's the North, there. Just make sure that you are in the North elevation, just double click on it if you're not and it will open up this view here. We're going to set the detail setting to five, like so, and we're going to set the visual style there to shaded, like so. And it gives you a little bit of color. Now, the blue area there is a curtain wall, which is basically a glass curtain system that creates a wall or part of a wall. So zoom in nice and close on…
