Area reinforcing

- Adding reinforcing to a slab is much different than adding it to a wall. By adding reinforcing to a slab we define an area rather than draw it in piece by piece. Let's to go into rev at structure. Under structural plans let's go to level one. Now what I've got to do is zoom in on this right here, looks like we have some rebar that is showing up that we don't really want to see. Let's turn rebar off in this view, type V G, let's scroll down until we find structural rebars and turn that off. Let's click apply. Let's click OK. Now what I'd like to do is select our floor slab now let's click on area for reinforcement. Now what I want to do is pick lines. I want to pick here, here, we're going to go all the way around our slab. Now what I want to do is start laying it out. For the layout rule I want to go maximum spacing, we wont add any additional space to the top or bottom just yet. We're going to scroll down and I'm going to widen this out just so I can see it a little bit better. The…
