- [Narrator] What's great about Revit is we can set up templates for our views. Which means that we can maintain a good amount of consistency throughout all of our views. This really outshines AutoCAD and any other drafting programs I've ever seen. Under Projects, let's click Open. Let's browse through where we're keeping our exercise files. I'm gonna grab my Templates model and I'm gonna click Open. Now, I've deleted every predefined template that's in here. So what I'd like to do is I'd like to go down to Power, Floor Plan, 1 - Power, and I'm gonna zoom in over here and this certainly is not a power plan. So the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna to start to set my settings to be the way I want to see them. To begin with, I wanna set my detail level to Medium. Now I want to go to my visibility graphics and I want to turn some stuff off. So, type v + g for visibility / graphics. This is a power plan so I don't wanna see any lighting. Cable Trays' fine.
