and building B and actually even one side of building A. so that we have the proper distance of a step down where we have the grade coming down, so that we have our footing sitting at the proper elevation in relationship to the frost line. To accomplish this task, it may be tempting to go to an elevation view, but one of the things that I've found but one of the things that I've found that's actually the easiest to do, is to go into your floor plan views and then go to A-Basement. Next, select on the wall that needs to have that step down associated with it. After selecting on that wall, you'll see the Split Element tool become available. If you click on Split Element and then begin to zoom down in this direction, you'll see a temporary dimension show up. Continue to move up in this direction while just touching the outside line of the wall. Once you get up to the 20 foot mark, click, and that will split the wall so that…
