Adding topography
to add a Topo surface to a site. Beginning instead of being here inside of the site plan, the first place that I want to be is action and elevation view, and let's go to the south elevation view. One of the first things that we need to know is just how high up that first point needs to be located at, well if I zoom out a little bit Well since there's a one foot and 3/4 inch drop from that point to that point, and I know that I want to add another eight inches to that, what that's telling me is that I need to drop my overall site one foot eight and 3/4s at a bare minimum down from wherever this level is at. Since that's what I'm going to do, I'll scroll up here. I'll go to my site plan, then the next thing that I want to do is actually go to my Massing & Site tab select on Toposurface and I'll place a point. Negative two feet is actually very close to that negative one foot eight and 1/4 inch dimension so what I'll end up doing is just leaving it at that two foot mark, and then I'll…
