Adding step footings

- Since we already have a foundation wall model, we can investigate how to react to a stepped footing situation. What I want to do here is edit the profile of a foundation wall. We're gonna step the wall down, then back up creating a stepped condition. To get started, let's jump into Revit, and into our structural model. Under Structural Plans, we'll go to Level 1. Let's zoom in over here to the West elevation. I wanna double click right on this little hat. That opens up our West elevation. Our top-of-footing data marker is in the way, so I'm gonna select it, pick the grip, and move it out of the way, like we've done before. Now for the hard part. What we can do, is we can edit the profile of this wall to step it down, and step it back up. So let's go ahead and select the wall itself. Let's click on Edit Profile. Now on our Draw panel, let's click the Pick Lines button, and for the offset, let's make it 1219. I'm gonna offset this wall over that 1219. Now I wanna offset it down. Let's…
