- [Instructor] Open-web roof joists need to be dealt with differently than wide flange beams. We need to actually figure out which framing members are going to support our joists, then set that framing down two and a half inches. We've got a lot to do so let's just jump in. Under Models, let's go Open. Let's go to 310, click Open. Okay, let's go to our roof plan in our project browser. Let's select any one of these framing systems. Go ahead and slip this one. Let's right click, select all instances visible in view. Now, just simply hit your Delete key, they're gone. Now, what I want to do is set all of these framing members down two and a half inches. So, hit your Control key and select all your horizontal beams. And grab your radial tubes. Now, in our properties, let's scroll down till we find Z offset value, type in minus 2.5 inches, hit Enter, perfect. Now, let's go to the insert tab. Let's load family. Now…
