Adding an in-place fascia family

Okay. Let's add a massive ornate sweep that engulfs the entire facade soffit. And let's even make it come down the wall a bit. The objective of this video is to create an all-in-one end cap by building an end place family. We will first start by starting the end place family command, then we'll select the sweep command. And lastly, we'll simply draft our sweep however we like it. First thing I want to do is start an end place family. So let's go to a 3D view. On the Architecture tab, under Component, let's click the drop-down right here and select Model In-Place. Let's scroll down and find Roofs. Let's hit OK. For the name, let's call it Roof Edge. And lets hit OK. Now what I want to do, is I want to create a sweep. So go ahead and click on the Sweep button. And let's click on Pick Path. I want to start with this edge right here. And we're going to go around, and we're going to pick every one of these edges. Certainly want to get these guys as well. Once we have all of the edges…
