- [Instructor] One of the projects that have tested you want to do early on is establish where all the Levels are in your project. Levels represent any key vertical height that's important to your building. So of course it will include any of your floor Levels, Level one, Level two, but it might include the Roof, or the grade Level, top of steel, bottom of Footing, any number of important vertical locations within the building can be demarcated with Level elements in Revit. Revit Levels are data elements that simulate horizontal planes running parallel to the ground. Now, if you're in a Floor Plan view, such as I am here you can't really manipulate your Levels from that vantage point. So you have to be working in either an elevation, a section or a 3D view in order to make changes to the Levels.
