- [Instructor] In this video we're going to create a graphical legend. Now legends are pretty common in architectural documentation sets to create a graphic that represents individual types of elements and then you can add notes and annotation to that graphic to kind of further explain the differences between the various types. So in this example I'm going to do a door types legend and Revit actually has functionality to help us do this and what's nice about the tool is every family in your project will generate one of these legend views but the nice thing about the legend views or the legend representations of the elements is they're not really part of the model so they don't throw off your counts, they're not elements in the model that you have to hide. All the work takes place in a drafting view. Let me show you the tool that we're going to use.
