Adding dimensions
- In this video we're going to look at dimensions and not the dimensions that we've done previously where we've used them as an editing tool, but this time we're going to look at dimensions for the purpose of documentation. Now it's actually the same command. So again we'll be focusing on placing dimensions that have documentation value. So let's get started here with the aligned dimension command or d + i is the shortcut. And what I'm going to do is zoom in over here on the corner of the plan and just kind of review a few of the basics. So if we look at the options bar, there are some choices here and it defaults to wall centerline and then right next to that its individual references. So lets start with those two defaults and if I click this wall and then this wall, now if I want to place a dimension I need to click in an empty white space to place that dimension.
