Adding dimensions

- Along with text, dimensions are pretty important. What I'd like to do here is find a dimension style we like. Then dimension a section and a Plan View. Let's jump into our structural model. Now I'm going to go down to our sections, let's go back to our enlarged framing section. And I'm going to zoom in right here. I'm going to go to annotate and I'm going to click on my lined dimension, then your dimension style arrow 2.5 millimeter ariel. Perfect. I'm going to click a spot right here, then right here and come straight out. I'm going to select my dimension, I'm going to click on Edit Type, my tick mark, I want to make that, Arrow Filled 15 degrees, I'm going to scroll all the way down to my text width factor, you know how I like that .8, I'm going to hit Enter. If you want we can add a prefix or a suffix, but to me that just takes up space, so I'm going to click apply, I'm going to click OK. Perfect, and again we've dimensioned this already.
