Adding detail components

- Well we can't physically model everything in 3D right? Although you can model items such as porch stops and structural connections, you'll take forever doing it. It is perfectly acceptable to draft these items using detailed components. So this video is gonna have us adding break lines as well as framing connections. To get started let's jump into Revit. Let's jump into our structural model. And let's go ahead and find our enlarged framing section. We need a connection right here. So the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna bring in a break line actually. Let's go to our Annotate tab. Now let's click on Component. Now let's click Load Family. Let's go to Detail Items. Let's go to Div-01-General. Let's grab M_Break Line. I'm gonna put a break line right here. I'm gonna hit my space bar and I'm gonna flip it around a few times. I'm gonna select my break line.
