Adding a curtain system to a massing element

- The massing is cool but pretty useless unless we have some walls or curtain panels appended to it. This video has us finding a pre-model massing element. We will then add both a curtain system and we'll divide one face of the mass and examine the difference between the two. So to get started, let's jump into our massing model or open up any mass that you have. Let's go to the Massing & Site tab. Notice you can model by face. Since this is the curtain wall class we're going to grab a curtain system. So go ahead and click on curtain system. Let's go to the properties. Let's click on edit type. Let's rename it to 2x2 and let's hit OK. The layout can be maximum spacing. Let's set the spacing for 2 feet. The Grid 2, let's make sure the layout is set to maximum spacing and let's set that to 2 feet, we will leave the rest blank. Let's click OK. Now what we can do is start selecting faces.
