Adding a concrete floor with steel decking
- The next type of floors we need to add are concrete floor with metal decking. Since our floor is pretty much predefined in the template, we won't have to do that much. We just need to tweak some dimensions to make the architectural floor thickness. To get started, let's hop into our model. Let's go up to "Level 2" structural plan. On the "Structure" tab, let's click the "Floor" button. For the "Floor," let's click the type selector drop-down and let's grab "160mm Concrete With 50mm Metal Deck." Let's click "Edit Type." Let's "Duplicate" it. This is gonna actually be "178mm." We'll use the same "50mm Metal Deck," but let's get rid of the number "2" and let's hit "OK." Under "Structure," let's click on "Edit" for the value. Let's click into the "Material" and click the "Builder" button. Let's make sure this is "Concrete Cast-in-Place gray." The "Thickness," let's type in "178." Let's click "OK." Let's click "OK." And we do need to offset this from our top of steel. So our "Height…
