Adding a brace frame

- With our Brace Frame View all set, we can start modeling framing just as if we are in a Plan View. Instead of modeling on a level, we're modeling on a grid. The objective here is to get some tube shapes added to the elevation. Alright, let's jump into Revit. In the Project Browser let's make sure we're in Typical Brace Frame Elevation. Let's zoom in. Let's get some of our floors copied up. Go ahead and select your Floor, click the copy button. Now let's go Paste, Aligned to Selected Levels. Now let's go up to Level 3, hold down the control key, Level 4 and then Level 5, and then click OK. Keep in mind we can do this anywhere, right? We are just in a section and we copied our framing up. Perfect. Okay, now let's go back down to Level 2. Let's go to the Structure tab. Now let's click on the Brace button. Let's go into the Properties and click the type selector drop-down.
