We've really been cheating up to this point. I've never seen a wall actually slant at the top to hold up a roof, a roof that has absolutely no framing by the way. Now, normally you see a seal plate anchored on top of the wall. Then the framing is attached to that, right? The objective of this video is to add some dimensional lumber. Then we're going to detach our walls from the roof. After that, we're going to add a sill plate around our perimeter to get ready for some rafter framing. So to begin with, hover over one of your walls, and hit your Tab key, and select them. On the Modify Wall panel, click Detach Top Base. Now, select your roof. The next thing I want to do is go to my project browser. Let's go down to our floorplan, 3 roof. Make sure on your view control toolbar, your visual style is set for wire frame. Now, let's bring in some lumber. Let's go to the insert tab. Now, let's click load family. In the Load Family dialogue, we're going to scroll down to structural framing. In…
