Add shading, mass families, and roof: 03 submittal

- [Instructor] The idea here is to show that you could use a mass family as a way of populating change through the model you're creating for your energy studies. So we don't have any shading elements to date on our model, there's balconies at each floor, and there's a roof, and what I want to do is, under the Insert tab, I've got a Balcony Type A and Balcony Type B, so I can pick, holding the Control key I'm selecting both of these, and I can say OK, and what it does it brings them into the project and they are a mass family, so they're stored under Masses, and then the way for me to bring them into the project would be to say drag and drop, so we do bring in A, and then Spacebar to turn it the way that I want, so let's set the location there, and then I'm going to say, drag in B, and Spacebar, and you kind of see from my model, it's something like that. So probably the easiest place for to work on that would be the Floor Plan view. So what I've got here is the option to select the…
