[Instructor] Revit supports two different project modes. I'm going to call those "single user" and "multi user." We're going to be using single user files throughout the course. These are files that are designed to be opened and accessed by one user at a time. Another name that we can give those is "stand-alone projects." I think it's important for you to understand though, how you access a multi user project. In Revit, a multi user project is referred to as a "workshare enabled project." So, worksharing is Revit's name for multi user access. In most office environments, you're going to be working on a project simultaneously with other Revit users. And therefore, your projects have to be set up as workshare enabled so that multiple users can access them at the same time. Now, there's a whole process you have to go through to actually create a workshare enabled project. You create something that's called a "central file."
