Using the Wall Sweep tool
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at the Sweep tool. The Sweep tool is an alternative way to add sweeps to a wall, and it allows you to add those sweeps, wall by wall, rather than applying it globally at the type level. Now you go to the Architecture tab, and click the dropdown on the wall tool, and you'll find the Wall Sweep tool right here. When I choose that, we can pick from the available types. I'm just going to accept the default one here, Wall Sweep Trim. That's just a simple trim board, and then I will come over here into my model, and click on my first wall that I want to add the sweep to. Now, you can continue adding additional walls to the same sweep by just simply clicking on them, and working your way around the model. Now, if you are finished adding that particular trim board, and you want to stay in the command, and add a new trim board, what you do, is you use this Restart Wall Sweep button…
