- [Instructor] The last type of rebar we put in, we put it in stick by stick, piece by piece. We can actually set it to be on center, major and minor directions and top and bottom. This works for both slabs as well as foundation walls. So let's create some area reinforcing. Let's open up Structure 35. Let's go to level one structural plans. I want to add some area reinforcing here. Go to the structure tab, click area. Let's select the edge of our floor. Okay, let's start. First thing I want to do though, is I want to come over here and I want my layout rule to be maximum spacing. I don't want any additional cover but I'm going to hit the drop down here. Top major direction. Number four, that's fine. No hook. Top major spacing is one foot. Top minor direction, we have that on. Top minor hook, none, top minor spacing.
