Inserting artificial lights
- [Instructor] There are two kinds of lighting you can use in a Revit project. We have natural lighting the Sun, and we can see an example of that here with the Sun streaming in, through these exterior windows. And we covered that pretty extensively in the previous chapter. And then of course we can use artificial lighting. Now, artificial lighting are just component families. So it's not a separate tool that you use to add lighting than you do to add the fixtures. Simply adding a light fixture component to your model will bring along all of its lighting information as well. This makes it really convenient because the same light fixtures that your team is using for documentation and design purposes will ultimately be the ones that will be used to render the scene.
