Creating slab depressions

- [Voiceover] One last thing I'd like to do with slabs is create a slab depression. Now, a lot of times, I see people go to a floor plan and just start drawing in detail lines. I don't like doing that. I'll show you how easy it is. Under structural plans, I'm gonna go down to level one. I'm gonna zoom in on this area and I'm gonna put a slab depression going all the way up here and all the way over to here. On my structure tab, I'm gonna model another in place component, just like what we did on our footing steps. So, click component drop down, model in place. I'm gonna scroll down 'til I find structural foundations and I'm gonna click okay. I'm gonna call this first floor depression, hit OK. Now what we're gonna do is on the Create tab, I'm gonna create a Void Form, Void Extrusion. Now it's essential that the next step is on Work Plane. Go ahead and click on Set. I'm gonna click on Pick a Plane and I'm gonna click OK. I'm gonna hover over this floor and just pick it. Now, my…
