Creating a material from custom image files
- This video, I want to continue where we left off in the previous video and use the custom textures that we created to create a Revit material. So I am here in a file looking at a drafting view where we have the original image that I took from my iPhone, sort of pasted in here in this drafting view. And the purpose of this view is just to take some measurements so you can understand how big the area of the photograph represents. So these reference planes represent where we crop the image and you can see that it is nine inches tall and it is 11 inches wide. And so that represents a field of tiles, not the size of a single tile, so try not to get confused by that. Furthermore, I've decided to actually double the size, so even though the original tiles in the photograph that I took were the sizes that you see here, I just thought for this exercise it would be a little nicer if we doubled the size made them a little bit…
