- [Instructor] Let's talk about text. I'll be the first to lie to someone and state that there's no such thing as regular text in Revit. There is a text editor and you're actually going to use it quite a bit. This video is going to go through the basics of adding text to a model and to a drafting view. So, let's just get started. To begin, let's go to HVAC floor plan 1-Mech Demolition. I'm going to zoom in on this area here where we have some demo items, and we have some existing to remain. Let's go ahead and add some text. We can't just tag what we want to say right here, so we need some descriptive words. On the Quick Access toolbar click the Text button right here. Or you can type tx for text. In the Properties, let's click the Text dropdown and lets go to 3/32 inch Arial. On the Format panel let's click the Two Segments button.
