Sizing duct
- [Instructor] So, you can size your duct one of two ways. One, you can let Revit do it, or you can simply do it yourself. This time let's see how Revit sizes duct. To allow Revit to automatically size duct though we must first chop the duct up approximately where we want it to reduce, or increase in size. I'm going to jump into Mechanical Project Five. Let's go to Ceiling Level One. I want to pick on this right here. I'm going to select this piece of duct though and I'm going to hit the down arrow. I'm going to nudge it down just a little bit 'cause it's pretty close, might give us problems. Hit Escape a couple times. I want to split this piece of duct. If we go to the Modify tab we can click the Split button right here, or see in parenthesis it says SL, so I'm just going to type s + l. I'm going to nail the middle of that. I don't know if it's going to reduce it there but if it does I want it to do it there. Maybe I'll hit this guy here. Maybe I'll hit this guy here. Now we'll hit…
